Characteristic and use:
   With the application of VVVF speed regulation technology, specific speeds of a motor can be achieved by means of choosing flexibly its different poles and frequencies, so that it is made possible to apply the roller table motor without gear reducer in the metallurgical industry. In recent years, on the basis of researching some newly developed low speed and high torque VVVF adjustable speed roller table motors abroad, with our several years experience in design and manufacture of VVVF adjustable speed motors, we extended YSG-series VVVF adjustable speed three-phase induction motors for roller tables, and developed the low speed and high torque YSGb225-400 VVVF adjustable speed three-phase induction motors for roller tables.
The construction design for the motors carries on the construction features of conventional motors for roller tables, besides, some innovations are made according to the performance of VVVF speed regulation. High strength structural materials are employed; the motors are totally enclosed surface natural cooled, with annular fins on the housing and radial fins on the bracket to enlarge area for heat dissipation and reinforce the structural rigidity; the sealing, re-greasing, etc. are fully considered, the protection degree of the motors is IP54, and in line with actual operating requirement, raising it to IP55 or IP56, may be accepted through consultation. Therefore, the motors are suitable for operation under the condition of frequent starting and braking, reversible running, impact load and in the severe environment of high temperature, dusty, vaporous.

Electrical machinery performance:  
The feature of VVVF speed regulation are fully considered for electromagnetic design, therefore the motors have a better performance of low speed output, a better overload torque and a more stable operation. Rated voltage of the motor is 380V, and rated frequency 20 Hz; operating range of constant torque under the condition of open-loop control is 2-20 Hz, and that of constant power is 20-32 Hz.
The motors are class F insulated, and class H insulation is also available on actual operating requirement. With a special design of insulation system for the VVVF motors, their insulation structure has the adaptability to high carrier frequency voltage supplied by frequency inverter. To prevent the shaft current, motors of 280 frame and above are mounted with earthing brushes on the shaft at non-drive side.
The overload capacity of the motors is 400%, 15s.

Structure synopsis:  

The degree of protection of enclosure is IP54 and can be IP55 or IP56 in accordance with user's requirement.
The cooling method is IC410 (totally enclosed, natural cooled).
Type of construction and mounting arrangement is IMB3. When other mounting type is needed to adopt, please state at placing order for consultation.
YSGb225 motor terminal box is located on the left side of the motor frame (viewed from the shaft extension side); YSGb250-YSGb400 motor terminal boxes are located on the top of the motor frame. If the user has any special requirement, please state at placing order for consultation.
